Since it’s your friend’s final nights before walking down the aisle, you may have planned something wild, fun or maybe memorable to do. It may be as classy as going to a spa or as wild as entering popular clubs in New York City. But whatever your bachelorette plan is, the important thing to consider is how you can get around. As you appoint yourself “the great hostess”, plan an event that works well with the bride.
There are many great activities and fun ideas that you can do for the bride but it’s good to make an event, guest and schedule list first. Where shall you start? You can begin looking at various spots or activities that the bride and your friends can enjoy. If the bride isn’t the partying kind, then you can decide to have a day at the beach or some spas in NYC. Planning a beach getaway such as in Coney Island to name one allows for sports, swimming and relaxation especially if the bride is just visiting or she’s from overseas. You can even stay in a beach house and experience nearby shopping and sightseeing. A day at the spa can also be great and indulging as you can all get a face treatment, relaxing massage or have manicures and foot care. Should the bride wants to go to party-friendly venues, on the other hand, you can plan a night out at the major bars and other hotspots in and near the city. Since these sites get a lot of bachelorette gatherings, many provide special offers for the night such as discount dinners at the club or free drinks for the bride. Once you decide where to go and what day it’ll be, you can now call friends or guests which you and the bride has approved or agreed upon. You can ask them if they’re available to come and give them time to prepare.
Generally, you can easily do all this by creating a planner’s checklist of things that should be done and prepared in advance. For instance, you can contact and confirm your arrangements with these venues, with the rides and with the guests a week beforehand. By doing this, you’re not aggravated by delays or cancelled plans that can affect an otherwise great time with the bride and her party guests.
